ואפריש דוד ורבני חילא לפולחנא לבני אסף והימן וידותון דמתנבאין בכנרין בנבלין ובצלצלין והוה מנינהון גברי עבדי פולחנא לפולחנהון:
lpwlkhnhwn pwlkhna ebdy gbry mnynhwn whwh wbtsltslyn bnblyn bknryn dmthnbayn wydwthwn whymn asp lbny lpwlkhna khyla wrbny dwd waprysh
Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:

לבני אסף זכור ויוסף ונתניה ואשראלה בני אסף על ידוי דאסף דאתנבי ברוח קודשא ומתמנא לרישא על ידא דמלכא:
dmlka yda el lrysha wmthmna qwdsha brwkh dathnby dasp ydwy el asp bny washralh wnthnyh wywsp zkwr asp lbny
of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.

לידותון בני ידותון גדליהו וצרי וישעיהו חשביא ומתתיהו אשתה על ידא דאבוהון ידותון בכנרא דאתנבי על אודאותא ותושבחתא קדם יי:
yy qdm wthwshbkhtha awdawtha el dathnby bknra ydwthwn dabwhwn yda el ashthh wmththyhw khshbya wysheyhw wtsry gdlyhw ydwthwn bny lydwthwn
Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh with the harp.

להימן בני הימן בקיהו מתניהו עזיאל שבואל וירימות חנניה חנני אליאתה גדלתי ורממתי עזר ישבקשה מלותי הותיר מחזיאת:
mkhzyath hwthyr mlwthy yshbqshh ezr wrmmthy gdlthy alyathh khnny khnnyh wyrymwth shbwal ezyal mthnyhw bqyhw hymn bny lhymn
Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

כל אלין בני להימן נביא דמלכא בפתגמי נבואה מן קדם יי למתקעבשופרא ויהב יי להימן בנין ארביסר ובנן תלתא:
thltha wbnn arbysr bnyn lhymn yy wyhb lmthqebshwpra yy qdm mn nbwah bpthgmy dmlka nbya lhymn bny alyn kl
All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

כל אלין ממנן על ידא דאבוהון בשירין בבית מקדשא דיי בצלצלין ובנבלין ובכנרין לעבידת בית מקדשא דיי על ידוי דמלכא ואסף וידותון והימן:
whymn wydwthwn wasp dmlka ydwy el dyy mqdsha byth lebydth wbknryn wbnblyn btsltslyn dyy mqdsha bbyth bshyryn dabwhwn yda el mmnn alyn kl
All these were under the hands of their father for song in Yahweh’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

והוה מניניהון עם אחוהון מאלפין לשבחא קדם יי כל סוכלתן מאתן ותמנן ותמניא:
wthmnya wthmnn mathn swklthn kl yy qdm lshbkha malpyn akhwhwn em mnynyhwn whwh
The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to Yahweh, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.

ורמו עדבין מטרתא כל קבל מטרתא כזעירא כן רבא ספרא עם תלמידא:
thlmyda em spra rba kn kzeyra mTrtha qbl kl mTrtha edbyn wrmw
They cast lots for their offices, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the student.

ונפק עדבא קדמאה לאסף ליוסף גדליהו תנינא הוא ואחוהי ובנוהי תריסר:
thrysr wbnwhy wakhwhy hwa thnyna gdlyhw lywsp lasp qdmah edba wnpq
Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, he and his brothers and sons were twelve;

תליתאה זכור בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy zkwr thlythah
the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
11
רביעאה ליצר בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lytsr rbyeah
the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
12
חמישאה נתניה בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy nthnyh khmyshah
the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
13
שתיתאה בקיהו בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy bqyhw shthythah
the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
14
שביעאה ישראלה בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy yshralh shbyeah
the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
15
תמינאה ישעיהו בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy ysheyhw thmynah
the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
16
תשיעאה מתניהו בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy mthnyhw thshyeah
the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
17
עשיראה שמעי בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy shmey eshyrah
the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
18
חדסראה עזראל בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy ezral khdsrah
the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
19
תריסראה לחשביה בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lkhshbyh thrysrah
the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
20
לתלתסר שובאל בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy shwbal lthlthsr
for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
21
לארבסר מתתיהו בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy mththyhw larbsr
for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
22
לחמיסר לירימות בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lyrymwth lkhmysr
for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
23
לשתסר לחנניה בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lkhnnyh lshthsr
for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
24
לשבסר לישבקשה בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lyshbqshh lshbsr
for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
25
לתמניסר לחנני בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lkhnny lthmnysr
for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

לתשיסרי למלותי בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lmlwthy lthshysry
for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
27
לעשרין לאליתה בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lalythh leshryn
for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
28
לעשרין וחד להותיר בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lhwthyr wkhd leshryn
for the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
29
לעשרין ותרין לגדלתי בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lgdlthy wthryn leshryn
for the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
30
לעשרין ותלתא למחזיאות בנוי ואחוהי תריסר:
thrysr wakhwhy bnwy lmkhzyawth wthltha leshryn
for the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
